Where would I find the s-pipe connecting the front caliper to the flex hose? I got one side loose using pb blaster and time but the top nut is frozen, I've used heat then cooling, impacting the brake wrench etc... but it wont break loose. I hate to use vise grip pliers on it but thats next. I'd like to find a replacement in case I screw it up. Is this something that can be custom made at a brake shop?

Ran in to a similar problem on my brakes last year on my '79. I wound up finding a metric replacement line at NAPA. Then used a tube bender to match it up. Just make sure you mind the caliper bolts when you bend. You want to still be able to get your socket on there with the lines in place. It can be done. The hardest part was finding a replacement line that was short enough.

I tried to go to a brake shop and have them make one up. Most places just laughed at my request. Maybe you'll have better luck than me, but I think your best bet is to bend one up yourself...

    Good luck!

I destroyed mine taking it off, and had to custom fabricate one.

Try Dennis McCann or T Rutlands.

I bent up a lot of lines for my brake conversion, it is not hard. The lines use a "bubble" flare , not the good old usa inverted flare. I think napa has one in the right length and all you have to do is buy a couple of them, (at least one to practice - they are cheap) buy a bender and go for it. It is not difficult and if you are reasonably carefull, it is safe.
