I've got to hand it to the guys at Wynn/Penske Ferrari - they got the car back to me inside of 24 hours. If it wasn't for them the weekend would have pretty much been a write off for me.
Thanks for the organization Eric! I had a great time. No tickets are always a good thing. (I think the truckers are just jealous that they have to pay $5/gallon for diesel.) I'm looking forward to the next one.

All I can say is WAY2FUN!!!! Thanks Eric for an excellent event. Great People Great Cars Great Drives Great Food Great Partying Did I mention that I had a Great Time LIFE is GOOD No Tickets I returned with more money then I left with No accidents Car turned 2400 miles on the way home (It only had 1300 a week ago) I do not know why, but for some reason this car seems to cause my mind to lose all sense of responsibility On the way home I got into it with a Yamaha sport bike just East of Mojave on 58. We are stuck behind a car passing a big rig and the bike is in front of me. When the car moves over after passing the truck the bike takes off. I am in 3rd and just stay on him. At about 130MPH he looks into his mirror and sees I am still there. He moves over and I left him after 140MPH. I managed to hit 160 before having to slow down again. The bike catches up and waves. Less then a mile later a white CHP car is pulling a guy over on the other side of the freeway. Good thing he didn't see us.
Another successful Pauper's Run.. Thank you Eric for living up to the legend and organizing everything for us.. I saw you pulling out your little list, making calls, and making everything happen. WaytoFast said it pretty well. It was nice for me to get this trip in before I move to Rome, and also to actually bring a Ferrari this time! I will definitely miss trips like this, as well as all of the great people which really makes the trip. I will miss you guys! Hopefully I will be able to visit often.

Alternator crapped out about 30 miles before Baker. Guys stepped in and kept things rolling while I dealt with that issue. A great group of people and a great time; about the only thing I would change is a club on the last night. We packed so much in there wasn't much energy left for one more party!

Had a great timie with all of you. The drive on Friday was off the hook. I realize it was a bit slower than last year but still wonderful. No traffic and everyone for the most part let us alone. Eric, thanks for setting us up and not catching on fire. It was nice to get together with OC/LA group. Maybe you all could take a trip down to SD for a weekend trip. Boyd, thanks for almost taking the bullet for us. Jeff
My meal was excellent and the view from the patio was great. It was a little warm out Saturday evening but Clint did what he could to make us comfortable. I'll be back. That Ferrari rental was a real piece of work. Haig was behind me at one point and thought it was a fuel smell from his car it was so strong. No Doubt and I got it back to the rental place without turning it into a BBQ and an hour later Wynn called to say my car was ready - worked out well. When the dust settles I'm sure the guys will post up anything non-incriminating
Well, here I am behind my desk at my office. The only thing I am thinking about was the past 4 days... What an awsome weekend...
