Sorry to hear the bad news! Either way you go I wish you the best with the repairs! ...Yes as stated it can be repaired. That would not be my choice, even though a good surf shop could probably do it. I recomend, as Daniel said, finding used door slats. Although they are vulnerable and hard to come by in good condition, its certainly worth buying rather than repairing. I say this because even if repaired correctly the chances of future cracking are high! And after the cost of paint it would suck to have it crack and have to do it all over again.
Sharpen those skills on Forza II or Project Gotham. They both have 355 sims, and you can practice your powerslides as much as you like without hitting the pocketbook, or any other stationary object! (Nonsense - I SAW that mail box attack your car!!!)
Just curious, are you avoiding the insurance claim do to future CARFAX reports? I have never had a claim on anything so I don't know if everything gets marked down or just the "totaled" claims.
I know of three cars locally with salvage titles that have a clear carfax report. It's a complete crapshoot.
Sorry to see this hapen .. ........ but it is good no person was hurt .... 'physically' .... .......... as many others have mentioned it is very fixable by a good shop... ! Though the 'real' fix is a nice 355..........
This was the car telling you it wanted to be a 355!! Ripping those side strakes out by sending you into a mailbox. Just kidding. That sucks, but it could have been a lot worse.
No, no, no! Not at all. It's just that it's not my car, so it's my job to fix it. Plain and simple! As for the damage... it's 100% cosmetic
