Europe only. Does anybody know why F1 from 2002-2005 was not avaiable in U.S.? I remembered I tried getting it in London but realized that the two ps2 systems are not the same. (Sony computer entertainment America and Sony computer entertainment Europe). Anyways just wish more games would be avaiable in America.
Does it matter for PS3? I thought they finally got wiser and threw out the country codes. I might be wrong on this, but I also think the PS3 itself can handle NTSC and PAL as long as your final device can display it (which my LCD project can), you're good to go. At 50 bucks, I'll give it a shot once it comes out. PS: Didn't some folks on here play already the Japanese version of "GT5 Prologue" on their US PS3? Japan's NTSC is different from ours and again you'd face the country code issue. Or not as the case seems to be.
ekkk the GFX look very PS2, Im sorry but compared to GT5 the gfx look really bad... And i was looking forward to this game too...
I have it pre-ordered for the Nintendo Wii. Release date end of the month... Can't wait to start racing!!! Bob
Yes - the PS3 is not region coded. We can play play the European version if the game doesn't get released in the US. I'm still playing my Japanese copy of GT5rologue! If they really have every Ferrari road car in the game, as they have promised, this game will be worth the $50.
Apparently it's available on PSP as well. http://www.gamespot.com/psp/driving/ferrarichallenge/index.html
Cool website: http://fc.system3.com/ I think some of the car data is wrong - see the 250 TR. Looks like they put in the stats of the 500TR instead. Also did the 250 LM do a 0-60 in 8 secs?????
They have Mont Tremblant in the track list. I just perused the video preview of the track and it looks like it is missing literally all of the elevation that makes this track such fun to drive. The one lap video looks almost perfectly flat!
Also the website says Out June 2008. Can't wait. Edit: Why is this coming out for the PS2. Sony needs to stop all production for games for the PS2 and create more games for the PS3.
Reading the interview with Senna, he says they dumbed it down to be more arcade like; the simulator was too hard to drive and no fun. Sorry, but I want the sim version. We have a Wii, so I'll get it for that, but it will not replace GTR2.
