    Wasn't #0808 also sold to Argentinia? Either the country is becoming a strong market for top vintage Ferraris or one collector is having the time of his life!

    Good for Perez Companc... his collection must be impressive
    The 250 LM is one of the most beautiful F-cars IMO

    Interestingly the same New Yorker owned both 0808 and this LM at different times.

    Exactly, the three most expensive of last year auction also went to Argentina: Ferrari 340 MM Touring Spyder, Ferrari 340/375 MM Berlinetta and Ferrari 330 TRI/LM.

    The gentleman in question didn't move to Argentina by any chance? :D


    Was the buyer always the same guy - or did they go to different collectors? Just wondering, Argentina wasn't exactly on my map of countries with a high first class collector car density up to now...
