Plastic Rear Window 360 Spider

I seem to remember a thread on this, or a very similar subject recently - Have you searched?

Anyway, a "reputable" canvas shop should be able to remove the old and replace without any pain - I'm sure if you post your location someone will step up with recommended shops.

Hi Im just new to this board, but i have recently had the rear screen replaced in my 360, I had it donre by a local car retrimmers (remembered them as they done the same job on my wifes mazda MX-5 Years ago). Apparently it was not that much of a dificult job for him. Sure there must be a company in your area that could offer this service?

 

The rear window is made as a separate item by Ferrari but it's about $1500-1700 for the part alone, so an aftermarket source would likely be tons more reasonable.

 

Holey-moley! We know their parts are expensive, but that's friggin' ridiculous! - It's a piece of "isinglass" (sp?) - You could almost certainly pick it up from the scrap bin in an upholstery shop.... I seem to remember the other thread said it's easiest to install with the top in the "half-open" position, but haven't searched it out.

The complete top fabric? Ranges from $10940.00 for Beige to $13220.00 for blue (grey and black are in between these 2 prices). This is "discounted' pricing

 

Thankyou! [Incidentally, it's shown as "top rear window" - I didn't know I had a "lower rear window".....]

In any event, while, Ricambi is certainly a great operation, I'm still convinced a "reputable" upholstery company (either auto or marine) would be *way* less expensive.

I recently had a new "bimini top" made for my boat, and I seem to remember the "high-end" isinglass material was about $50 per square yard - "Guaranteed" never to yellow etc etc.....
