    Lately I have been using www.amazon.com and www.speedgear.com for all my diecast needs, but I need more selection.



    What is your favorite diecast dealer???

    They are the WORST, ever! Search on here, many horror stores.

    I recommened Cavallino Models and Replicarz.

    From reading up on Exoticar, I would never buy for them. Sorry for the confusion.

    EBAY is the BEST resource for models. I have gotten about 90% of my collection off there and guarantee you I spend less than most for new or older models...Keep your eyes open for deals, there are out there....

    I agree fully on Replicarz ( http://www.replicarz.com/ ), good honest people to deal with. Another winner is Sportcraftcars ( http://www.sportcraftcars.com/ ). Purchased many models from both and service was superb. Good selection and prompt and careful shipping at reasonable prices.

    Exoticar is evil incarnate. They really don't give a **** about customer service or if you ever get your models, as long as they have their moeny. Stay away from them.

    That being said, several sponsors here sell diecasts, and will take good care of you. :)

    Find a seller on ebay with perfect feedback (more then say 50 sales or about).
    I don't know how many times I have won a car that was worth way more then I paid for it off of ebay, but I know its a lot.
    I also had to stay up late on some of those auctions though.

    I have bought a few cars from Exotocar and never had trouble, but sounds like they have gone down the tubes...

    It's easy to be a good seller when everything goes off without a hitch. It's how a seller handles problems that distinguishes them very often. With diecast models, problems frequently happen. Exoticar is great when there are no problems, however, they are not gracious or helpful (downright bad) when something goes wrong. Replicarz is a fantastic company to deal with for your diecast models.

    Coincidentally, the Replicarz owners bought Sportcraftcars recently, and are moving the operation from Michigan to Vermont.

    interesting. I've never dealt with replicarz, but bought a bunch of stuff (mostly slot cars) from sportcraft. They've been very good. Should be a great merger :)
