    EC performed at the Ferrari/Maserati weekend a few years ago at Brands Hatch Circuit. Was a fantastic evening.

    Clapton has had a large number of Ferraris. In the seventies my Dad used the same mechanic to look after the Daytona as Clapton (and Mick Jagger I believe). The mechanic (who is sadly no longer with us) allegedly won a 275GTB/4 from Clapton in a card game!!!! He sold the car to my Dad.

    I have been in his garage, at his house in Ohio. he has some very cool Roy Brizio-built custom hot rods, at least one of which has been on the cover of Rodder's Journal twice. Very cool guy.

    I think I saw one of Clapton's Ferraris (silver 250SWB) in England a couple of years ago. It had been sold and was on its way to Australia.

    He very much still owns that SWB, it was fully restored by DK Engineering and is spectacular. They featured it in Classic & Sportscar a few months ago, and the author said it was probably the most significant SWB built.

    Does Mr. Clapton still have a 250TDF? I recall reading somewhere that he owns/owned the last of the 14-louver TDF's?
