The car I'm interested in buying comes with the optional Ferrari modular wheels.. (£1500 option ?) but I'm not so sure I like them, and wonder if I should ask the dealer to put the standard wheels put on..

This is a picture of the same type of wheels:

I know taste is personal, but what do you guys think ? What's your preference ?

BTW: It's on a Grigio Titano 360 Modena.

I love the standard wheels but I have modular on red and think it looks lovely.

I would take the modulars and sell them or p/x them.

I know someone with Titanium and the std ones I think it also looks great, see below for my (rather feeble) photoshopping efforts...

i'm not a fan of the modular wheels on either the Modena or the Maranello.

but it is obviously a personal aesthetic issue.

No choice keep standard wheels for if and when you sell the car Phone Manu at S/Systems and get him to get a set of titianim Challenge Wheels plus a new set of tyres ( P zeros) from Micheldever Tyres Basingstoke . Tyres are £650.00ish plus an arm wrestle with Manu over wheels See pictures

    Rich,

I think I see a full immaculate set at Verdis a couple of weeks back when he fitted my Challenge Grill.

Give him a call, they looked new and were shod with tyres too.

J, I'm confused mate, maybe my post wasn't clear. I have the modulars and love them.
If I were exiges, I would take the modulars that are on the car and sell them on (assuming the car price is fixed), maybe I misunderstood but there seems little point in refusing an expensive item when its already on the car where you stand a good chance of selling them or swapping them for stds and cash...

True enough. I was hoping to get some feedback from other owners regarding their preference.

I didn't know that the modulars were valued enough (2nd hand) to get some stds in replacement and some spare cash..

How much could I get for the modulars ? How much is a set of standards ?
