Before everybody feels bad for Sutil and the Force India team, which allegedly lost millions because of his DNF:

Sutil cheated at the Monaco GP.

He passed three cars under yellow and would have been penalized no matter what and ended outside of the points.

    J. Truly cheated at Monaco a few years ago to win, why doesn't anyone say anything about these situations at Monaco?

Because he didn't get caught. Sutil got caught red handed and Kimi actually did him a favor by taking him out: He made him look like a hero and saved him and his team a lot of embarrassment.

Why are you always posting German links? Does anyone else here understand German?

Also, they wouldn't have just moved him back to 7th?

I will happily cheer for him when he is driving for Force India. I have nothing against the guy, I just don't think he belongs in the Ferrari.

As far as Sutil is concerned, he is going to need to do more than just show up for one race. Prior to Monaco, he was being talked about as on his way out of the sport, now there are folks on here calling for Ferrari to sign him?!?

I have yet to be convinced that Sutil is nothing more than the second worst driver in F1, ahead of only Piquet Jr.

So the gist is that he passed 3 cars during the Alonso-Heidfield incident. Alonso tagged Heidfield at the hairpin, blocking the inside racing line. Yellows were of course waived as traffic backed up. Barrichello, Piquet, and Nakajima moved to the outside while Sutil stopped behind a RedBull and Alonso. Once Alonso and the RB took off Sutil passed the other 3 before they could accelerate. The article claimes Williams and Honda had already started a protest which would likely bring Sutil a 25 second penalty. They estimate this would drop him out of the points.

Heres a video of the incident and aftermath

To identify the source so nobody thinks I just made that up. And besides: FChat is a global website with a lot of German speaking folks on. Right Florian? :)
