As I have mentioned a couple of times, I really want to buy my son the Enzo Ferrari Battery Car for his 3rd birthday.

    http://www.pedalcars.com/Toys-Toys-Enzo-Ferrari-p/11-tt-676204.htm

It appears the only place I can loctate one is in the US. They run on 115Volts 60Hz from memory.

Has anyone ever bought electrical goods from there that work here. The car has a 12 volt battery so I am assuming a transformer here would do the job???

Any advice would be appreciated or if someone has seen the car available here or the UK etc your help would be appreciated.

They say the car is made under licence in Italy but I haven't been able to track the manufacturer down.

    Thanks in advance.

As you say its stepping down to 12v, so all you need is the correct charger, you should not have to much problems getting a charger here, or better yet get the seller to order the correct charger from the supplier before he exports it to u, its from Italy so the correct one should be able to be supplied.

Your son will have ball with it [for 12 months or so!] and for heavens sake dont try and be tempted to drive it around yourself, i think they are rated for 50kg, i learned the hard way! :)

    Ciao

Just buy a step-down transformer. Get a price from Jaycar. They're not expensive.

I think the manufacturer has closed shop.
When you goto an italian toystore they give you this logo http://www.toyshouse.it/images/ToysToys/marchio.jpg
Then googling that name gives you tttoystoys.com but if you goto the site, there is just ads and according to an Italian directory they are
So you could just give them a call, see if they are still around :)

    Pronto :p
