+1 , Here's my bad driving for all to see!!! Watch me run this handicap person off the road. Pretty cool!
I liked the idea of so many exotics and feared for any misstep. That was a California freeway between Orange and San Diego County that I drive my 430 quite frequently. "Normal" traffic is approximating 70+ so you can judge the speed of the camera car. As pointed out by others, school buses and mini vans do not make very good pylons and all is fun until something goes wrong. I suspect more than one of the "pylons" had to ask themselves if I.Q. and size of wallet are negative correlated. Best
If you can afford an LP640 or Scud , surely you can afford some track time and really have fun with your friends without endangering yourself or the public.
I agree it was stupid. It appears they are going to pay the price. Sometimes people get caught up in the moment with a group of exitics around them.
All the cars are very impressive. The actions of some of the pilots? Not so much. It's driving like that, in that environment, that makes other people call them penis extenders.
These wienies have managed to give us all a bad name. Some of the dumbest driving I have seen. Playing around a school bus, shier genius. Thanks for giving all of the rest of us a black eye.
+1 that is the exact road I take to work and home. It is one of the most ticketed sections in California as the Highway Patrol is right off of Camino Capistrano.
A cool video of cool cars on the highway is great! We should see more people out there taking their exotics out for a drive. To promote racing and rivalry on a public road is stupid and dangerous. I guess they got what they deserved at the end. Next time take it to the track. Just dont crash. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoOiwiEUt8c
I'm all for having fun, but that was a little crazy. It's one thing to give it a short blast if there's a clear stretch, but not a run of that duration, blowing past all those commuters and weaving in and out of traffic at high speed. That's begging for trouble. Anything could happen and it would likely cause a major, multiple car accident. I know it's hard to resist playing around when there are other sports cars near you, it's normal to want to go at it, but we have to use our heads. The video was fun to watch, no doubt, but road racing like that is wrong. And what did it prove? There was no room to really go, anyway. IMO, those airport runway outings are the thing to do.. a large, closed off space, and you run however you want. I'm sure they have their negatives, but it's a lot safer (and better) than fooling around on the street. It's a shame that venue isn't available to more people.
Those guys give exotic owners a bad name. There's always a time and place to run up the throttle and have fun, but not in afternoon traffic. C-
LOL @ giving owner's a bad name/rap.... and it being dangerous or some crap. From the other traffic, it doesn't look like any of them went over 130/140mph or so. And why is a school bus a big deal? It's way bigger than the cars so it wouldn't get harmed and the people in it (if any) aren't even old enough to drive most likely. You guys are such worriers. Great video, a little boring but still great.
