I am embarking on another repair of my car. This time (for fun) I'm going to be posting partial pictures along the way (about one a week) to completion but have you guys guess what it is I'm repairing based upon a statement and/or a picture clue given in each upcoming post.

The "winner" who guesses correctly first gets bragging rights (sorry, I need the cash to make the repair).

    The rules:

Each participant will be limited to 5 guesses during the "contest". So do not shot-gun you attempts and squander your chances.
I'll accept only one guess per post per day, your first one. That gives others a chance to chime in too.
    No PM's

First clue is pictured below - THE DAMAGE.

Looks like a jack or lift was placed in the wrong spot at some point and damaged the underbody of the car.

Supporting frame of your front bonnet, cracked when forcing down the lid without depressing relase-button. (? :D )

    Nice job, Kingpin! :D

And Bob, I have seen some of your other threads, and I enjoy seeing the level of detail with which you do things (didn't you remake stickers for fan motors?) . . . . :)

Yes, I did. Do you need any? I made extras (PM me). Newman got some to put in his nearly completed yellow masterpiece too.

I've seen some other (original) variations of this sticker on other cars lately. So it seems mine are not the only style that was applied.

I'm currently working on the replacement yellow Tubi triangle decal that goes on the intake hose to the FI plenum. Mine is totally faded out white.

Sounds like Mike is going to need an intervention soon.

    Mike,

I had the metal channel piece made up custom to an exact size. No extra piece is left. Now I have to fit it to my hood - cutting in the slot for the strut mount.
