    Summer is here! Well, maybe not officially, but it’s hot again. Definitely time for an evening out with our cars!

    So you are invited to join us for Second Saturday Gelati Night on Saturday, June 14, at Paciugo’s. We’ll meet there at 8:30 pm to admire our cool cars, visit with our cool friends, and enjoy some cool gelati!

    Yes, Second Saturday is open to all European cars.

    We started this event because our Italian cars didn’t have good air-conditioning for Texas summers. Then the British and some Swedish cars showed up, all with poor air-conditioning. We all had a great time!

    So please come on out and visit with us. What car(s) do you have?

    I may have to miss out on this one. My best friend is planning her birthday party dinner that night. It'll likely be in Plano though... so who knows.

    This was the first time I've been able to make one of the Gelati Night events, and I thought it was very fun. There was a nice mix of cars, including at least 4 F-cars (512M, two 348's and my 355), around 8 Smart cars, and a nice Eleanor clone (not European, but still very nice). The Gelati was very good as well. Thanks again for putting this together...I hope to make the next one as well.
