One more week left to go but she looks great and the response has been overwhelming.

This is a condo that I have in downtown Little Rock (1bd, 1ba ~1100 sq/ft).

The ceiling has embedded fiber-optic stars that mimic the exact layout of the summer Northern sky including the constellations. There are ~1800 stars of different fiber sizes in the main room.

The screen showing '300' is 120" diagonal and is 2.35:1 aspect ratio. The columns on either side of the screen and the bar are speakers. The bar has a rear center channel built into it. The front center hadn't been integrated at the time of this picture. There is also a motorized plasma TV underneath the screen for normal TV watching.

The floors in the condo are all absolute black granite.

The bathroom has standing river rock from Bali in the shower with a chair rail of blue paua shell and black mother of pearl.

The walls are imported Japanese rice paper...the ceiling in the bathroom and the bedroom is also rice paper and has light fixtures behind it to illuminate it.

***Everyone makes fun of the Bud light in the beverage center in the picture...we recently had thrown a party and that was the request of one of the guests...it just got caught in the pictures :)

Wow some amazing work there I even recognized some constellation on your ceiling, and what a great view, did you do some of the design work yourself?

Really nice place! Where are you located? I'm going to guess Washington DC?

I love the theater setup you have; I'm very tempted to take a shower in your bathroom, wan we get a full view pic?

I did all the design work myself, thank you for the kudos. I own a high-end building materials importation company so it was a way to showcase our products. There are materials from 40 different countries in the condo. Unfortunately I don't have a wide angle lens for my camera so I can't pull back on the bath any farther than that...the condo is only ~1100 feet so 28mm doesn't get much visible.

VERY nice condo, but equally impressive photography work! I know taking those kinds of shots isn't easy. Well done on all counts!

    I'm completely blown away!

I was gonna make a joke about the Bud Light too, as it caught my eye as well. :D

My father built sailboats. He did 1/12 scale models first. Circa late 60s. I have his original 1/12 model of the 36 footer which I want to create a lines plan for the original, as he never kept his original line drawings. First is overlay of model (real) and 3D model. Delftship software creates the lines plan automatically.

    It's a start:

I designed this pendant and ring for a lady friend as a thank you. Had them made by a jeweler friend in Miami who has on staff a third generation duo using the old methods of casting. Both are 18K white gold. The center stones are alexandrite, which represented her birth month of June. Surrounding the alexandrite, which is rare and very expensive for a real documented stone, are amethysts (my birth stone) and vs1 diamonds, most in heart shape:

I know this thread is a bit old but bear with me.

What type of foam did you use? I have a similar school project for next year, although it has to do more with aero testing then anything. But I like the amount of detail you were able to get for the body of the car (although im sure it has more to do with the mill then the type of foam). I'm just as curious how you made the other bits for the car? Did you use Catia to make the body or another program?

Also some sort of recliner, but a bit different.
A tilting three wheel bike with power assist and folding roof. I designed this vehicle, back in 1998 in my second year of my study Industrial Design at the Delft University. It was a cooperation between bicycle manufacturer Gazelle, Nike Europe, Technical/Environmental Innovation lab TNO and the Delft University.
I started with a clean sheet of paper and this is what it has developed into.
