but we will never know. Will BMW put an add in the mondaypapers saying: THANK YOU MERCEDES-BENZ! Would be funny.
Kimi's fast lap obviously didn't mean anything, I mean clearly LH was walking away from it (crash crash scene that is... not the race).
Impossible to know if Kimi would have won but its a sure thing that he couldn't because of LH's rookie mistake.
I love it, folk constantly bashing Lewis Hamilton, which only leads me to believe they are so paranoid they darn't fart fear of crapping themselves..if he wasn,t a threat you wouldn't say a fricking word.
Hugely talented but still in over his head in many respects. Judging by the video Kimi wasn't that upset after the incident.
i don't hate the Kid, but i'm not a 'fan' of his either, but to excuse his mistake lightly and his smug response from the incident is something only a die hard Hami fan would do...
What I find ridiculous is that the same folks who are bashing Hamilton for what is clearly a stupid driving error are also the same ones who are willing apologists for Schumacher's many intentional crashes of his championship rivals. Hamilton made an idiotic driving error for which he not only threw away a certain win but also cost himself 10 places for the next race. Schumacher however did this exact maneuver to his title rivals intentionally several times throughout his career, and yet he walks on water according to some here. Ridiculous.
someone on here said not to place the two in the same regard, you must of been asleep. schu is a god ham is a boy
How do you get to that conclusion? Hami was running away with the race until the safety car. Kimi would be luck to even see Hami at the checkered flag.
bottom line is that the final results were perfect! We need more races like this. Maybe some wet ones and we could see a genuine WDC.
What are you talking about? Hami was obviously light. The commentators were saying that McLaren made a mistake that they did not get him in right before the safety car. He was so full of it probably daydreaming about listening the British anthem on the podium, that when both KR and RK leapfrogged him in the pits, he could not wake up on time to hit the brakes. Who cares about the first 20 laps? The fact is that after the first stops Kimi was ahead of Hamilton and had the fastest pace on track. He still clocked the fastest lap of the race
Ridiculous is precisely right. Comparing him with the most successful driver of all time is nothing short of ridiculous. Just like the rest of your McLaren-apologistic Lewis Hamilton-idolizing comments. Truly RIDICULOUS.
You really have no idea what you are talking about. Please wake me up when you actually have an intelligent rebuttal to my argument rather than resort to personal insults.
Thank you Steve - some of these posts are TOTALLY out of line - and surprise, surprise, they are from the same ones who post the same crap on the other Massa Basher, etc. threads. I liked Brian's comment about Hamilton Haters. It's very refreshing to go to another forum that isn't populated by idiots and you can have constructive, non-abusive, intelligent conversations with folks all over the world. Carol
+1 For the 6 or 7 laps before the SC Kimi was almost a second faster than RK and about .200 seconds faster than Hamilton.
SO, THE PUNISHEMENT IS: 10 grid spots in France for Hami! http://planet-f1.com/story/0,18954,3213_3666602,00.html
Some folks (no names) are taking this a bit too seriously, it is after all just a sport. Please wait until I don my Nomex before responding
I would much ratter let you sleep. After all, obviously you slept through most of the race, then you just woke up and wile still half asleep typed something that involved part of your dream and some segments of the race. So go back to sleep. I can't wait for the next outlandish comment. It is quite entertaining. And for the personal insults-I don't believe I have insulted you. You on the other hand have a long history of doing it to most here, accompanied by numerous bans for it.
