How high (or low) is your front bumper to the floor?

I just added the carbon fiber Valence lip and don't want to break it off. I lowered the car and am just wondering where most people have the ride height at.

I will measure mine from the floor to the front lowest part of the bumper today and post.

    NOT ENOUGH!

I think Enzo's dumb ass younger brother must have been a bumper repair guy.

Mine was 4.7 inches just like the book says. It's not the height that gets you, it's the angle height when you try to enter and exit driveways. 348's with the lip spoiler have a drastically reduced angle height from stock and stock isn't that great to begin with. The 355 has the same ride height but its angle height is vastly superior to the 348.

What is angle height? It's the diagonal line from the bottom of the tire to the bottom of the leading edge of the lip spoiler. The flatter the poorer. Overhang, ride height and lower bumper configuration all affect angle height. And yes, I made up this term. :)

I've got 12 CM clearance with no one in the car...but if your shocks or springs are a bit worn, you'll drop down pretty low with a driver...and much lower with a driver plus passenger.

...and that's when the height matters. Stopped and parked with no one in the car...well, that's a less likely time to be smashing up your front bumper on a speed bump. But loaded with driver and passenger while cruising through a parking lot is another story!
