Not that I'm defending Lewis but it was pretty stupid to have the red light at the end of the pits when they had just opened up pit lane during the Safety Car...I'm sure everyone was a bit surprised by that one.

If Kimi can let it go, then some of you guys need to chill out with the Hamilton bashing.

Correction: Senna took out Prost to pay him back for Prost intentionally crashing into Senna the year before. He never took out a driver to take a win or preserve his title chances, he did it out of pure retribution. Furthermore he became remorseful afterwards and ended up apologizing to Prost years later.

Schumacher, on the other hand, well I don't believe he ever showed remorse for one damn thing he ever did on track. And he didn't just do it once, he took out several competitors.

I recently read a lengthy article about the Senna/Prost feud and Prost did not intentionally ram into Senna, he just beat him to the corner which Senna did not expect and it caused an accident which gave Prost the title. Next season Senna intentionally rammed Prost off the track. The funny thing is that you are comparing this incident with MS and JV, but Senna kept his title and MS paid dearly

Have you not been watching F1 when the safety car comes out? Just last year Felipe got black flagged in Canada after the SC for running the red light.

Yup, he probably would have a WDC as we speak, if he didn't try and beat Alonso in Brazil.

LH has all he needs to win a WDC. The only problem - He is his biggest enemy. An emotional driver he is, he needs to be a better technical driver. I think he lacks a certain technical aptitude for the car. Like in Spain? (could be wrong go easy please), where he didnt quite understand his tire choice and complained, then later AFTER consulting with his engineer they set him straight and he corrected himself. He should already know what tires can do, what and when. Once he has that set I think he is unstoppable, assuming he is in equipment that will be at the front.

Kubica appears to be a good technical driver. He has taken a car that was very unstable in the the off season and tamed it and made it work when it needs to. Nick has still problems with one lap, the tires etc.

    Krafty,

I think the evidence is now they are the new guard at the front, setting the stage as the drivers to dominate for the future(LH and RK). Kimi is fading as he has doubts about his long term participation, Alonso is hoping to move up if Renault dont provide better equipment. Alonso has big competition now and others like Vettel and Rosberg figure as well. Racing is getting better now in F1 I think. The lack of traction control has only begun to show who can drive and who cant. This is fun now :)

Yes, I have. And I do remember the Massa incindent but my point is that this particular circuit has an adequate pit exit...why allow the teams to pit only to stop them at the exit? The problem could have been much worse considering a lot of the teams were servicing both cars.

They allow them to pit so they don't run out of fuel and they stop them at exit to allow the train to pass.
Please. Where would a pit exiting car feed back in if not at the end?

Well that I certainly understand what you're saying...was the Safety Car passing by at the time of red light or was it just bad timing? Maybe I missed that critical point.
