if she delivers and probes her self, it's fine with me. I'd pay to see that.
Well, maybe we'll see if her neck is strong enough to handle the G-forces then. I seem to remember a famous oval-driving Nascar driver who had trouble after a few laps in an F1 car.
I'd like to see her test in F1 and do well, but I know it won't happen. Oh, she may test one day, but she won't do well, sadly. What American F1 needs is a GOOD driver, not a PR exercise. Scott Speed was a PR exercise. He had the right name, the boyish American smile, the "dude, bro" style of saying a lot without actually saying anything, and the history of "coming through the ranks of the Red Bull challenge". Unfortunately he sucked on the track. Whomever is trying to bring an American into F1 needs to focus on talent and ability and forget about all this "who will generate the best ROI" crap. It's like Hollywood - forget about trying to make Star Wars Episode 7 with Tom Cruise, Angelina Jolie and Will Smith and just focus on the story and the characters and the rest will take care of itself.
Someone needs to send a memo to the GP2 guys and remind them that motor racing is not just about winning, it's about publicity. At the end of the day, it's all just entertainment. I am also one with young girls, and I'd love to see Danica in F1.
Scott is actually kicking some ass over here. He's winning Nascar Truck races, and Arca races. I think we'll see in in a cup ride for next year, although Scott has hinted that it will be even sooner than that. It's good to see him doing well, after he caught so much crap from everyone in F1.
In a STR car, no one can keep up. Including the "F1 boys". Both STR drivers are far better than thier cars allow them to be. I firmly believe either would be right on pace, in a top car. The big question for Danica will be whether she can come to terms with the braking distances and the feel for the brake systems in just a day. If she can, she'll be right on pace, for a test effort like this.
