I heard TURIN is the devil's favorite city ... a city devoted to EL DIABLO ...
How many units around the world stand in showrooms waiting for owners:-1.houston,which is premium from msrp, houston's was 2,1mio usd.
exactly not just an hotel. there are many shops, offices and the automotive engineering university inside it. I was at the conference. I was hoping in something more specific about the car(being a student and a car lover) but I found still interesting Mr Winkelmann words. Then it was the turn of Walter da Silva to talk and then a few other words with some other members of the "Reventon team". That on the roof wasn't the only Reventon there. Another one was there during the cerimony so there were 2.
The Lamborghini Reventon: INVOICE Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 - $318,800 Special Edition "Reventon" Body Kit - $100,000 Shipping and Handling (by military helicopter)- $1,182,000 Total - $1,600,000 Thank you for your business.
That's funny; my invoice shows the shipping and handling as $1,000,000 and that the gauges and **** colored seats added to the remaining $182,000...even at such I still don't get the pricing.
one of the designers said they got ideas from military planes, and he added they went to a military base to get inspiration. i also remember of a drag race between the reventon and a plane. at the end of the conference the CEO has been asked about the next lamborghini model. he answered with a video finished with the phrase "closer to the road".
This car has to be the biggest rip off in auto history. Kudos to Lamborghini for receiving so much fool's gold for this car.
interesting video on forbes.com about the Reventon http://money.cnn.com/video/ft/#/video/autos/2008/06/11/fortune.jr.lamborghini.int.fortune the instrument cluster looks redic!
http://www.evo.co.uk/news/evonews/223482/lamborghini_reventn.html This could have ended up really bad....
ugh. wasted a few moments here. To spare others, Lamborghini carried a Reventon to the top of a building via helicopter. Yay.
Over the top? absolutely. but its this type of "rock star" antics that makes Lamborghini who they are.
Unless they're holding a raffle to see who gets to punt that hideous thing off that building, thanks for saving us the click. If they ARE selling tickets for that raffle . . . . . . < counts cash in pockets >
While that car is a bit...much, it is more impressive in person. I went to see the one at Lambo of Las Vegas and found it to be less clunky than it looked in photos. Moving it with a helicopter? Whatever. I'm sure they move equipment all the time worth as much. R.
Yeah, that was me. I was going to BurgerKing and cut through some traffic that way... Hey, when you got the money right? _J
