Are there any 430 Scuderias out there without a stripe? I know the 360 CS was offered with or without the stripe and I wanted to know if it was the same for the Scuderia.

I wonder if current CS stripe preference is an indication of future Scuderia demand?

The stripe is a signature feature of the scud. IMO a must have option.

We are about two weeks away from launching the Scuderia Stripe Kit on our website. :)
At this stage we are curious to find out if anyone would be interested in purchasing other color combinations ?
At the moment we are only producing the silver with black edging.
    Let's hear what you think.
    Cheers :)

That's true. It is a must have option. I was just courious to see if it actually WAS an option or if it was just standard.

    Thank you!

Can you PM to me directly?

We thought we might introduce Gold with black edging as an option.
There are obviously an infinite number of possibilities, but in order to keep it reasonably priced, it's not warranted to set up production for singular combinations.
Either the Silver or the Gold would look good on a red car.
If we get enough interest in the Gold we may introduce it from the start.
We would be happy to hear from anyone else who might be interested.
    Cheers :)

I think white would also be a good alternative.

White would be a good color for more general applications.
We sold a lot of our CS Stripes on 430s, 550s and quite a few on the older cars.
Unlike the CS Stripe, the Scuderia Stripe is open to variations with color.
If there was enough demand for these variations, we could consider producing these to order at a small premium.
    All opinions are welcome.
    Cheers :)

With the greatest of respect to you and your customers I think that stick on stripes are naff. Either get the factory painted on stripes or give it a miss IMO

The bulk of our CS Stripes were sold to people with a CS that came from the factory without a Stripe.
We fully expect it to be the same for the Scuderia.
The Scuderia Stripe is an 8K option here and probably 5 or 6K elsewhere, and can only be removed at some considerable expense if you don't want it. I think our product offers a very economical and flexible alternative.
But, you are absolutely right, it's very much a personal thing, like any enhancement to your Ferrari.
Keep the comments coming guys :)
    Cheers :)

The stripe on the CS and the 430S is a signature item on the car. As a % of value it is insignificant to the original purchaser. In the resale market it is very clear that the cost of an original stripe is fully reflected in resale value.

IMO there is nothing worse than a 360 with a CS stripe and that is where most of the stickers that I have seen ended up. I have never heard of anyone saying "I will buy that CS with the factory stripe because i like the car but I will remove the stripe". I have heard many people say "Love the CS but will give it a miss because I want the stripe". No CS buyer would take any comfort at all from a sticker as a substitute for a factory stripe.

You are in the business and I am not so I must accept your statement that the bulk of your stripes were sold to CS owners. I only know owners and buyers of cars amongst my friends and my comments above reflect that viewpoint.

In Hong Kong it is so easy to get any stripes made. Nobody would buy a kit from overseas - no need - just go to the local sticker shop.

Would love to hear some other opinions as would Brenden

IF ( and I mean if) I was going to put a stripe of any kind on my 360, it would be because I liked the look and not because I was trying to copy someone or something else.
personally I do not like the CS stripe with the green and red stripe that if offers. I would rather choose 2 red stripes that match the rossa corsa color of the vehicle. I do however like the Scud stripe.
    thats my 2 cents.

Brenden.......is the stripe you are refering to going to be more silver or grey with the black outline?

It is a must have. And unlike the CS, where stripe/no stripe looked equally good, the Scud looks much better with the stripe. IMO.

The Scuderia Stripe will be an exact replica of the factory stripe.
Same as the CS Stripe it will be finished with a high gloss clear coat, which will make it almost indistinguishable from the real thing.
As with the CS Stripe we will supply two sets of hood segments incase you have to replace it from stone chip damage.
    Cheers :)

If I recall, the stripe on the CS was $10,000. People ordered it without the stripe and easily had it added aftermarket for less than a grand. I would think saving over $9k is the real "must have option".

Did you end up paying $8k-$10k? LOL, I assure you that more people disagree with your comment than agree. I'm sorry, but I don't see the rationale behind spending an exorbitant amount of money to have "factory" options. This is my opinion with the greatest respect for you.

The green and red reflect the Italian flag if I'm not mistaken.

The rationale is that the factory original stripe has increased the value of the cars. It seems that good striped cars are still commanding well over MSRP, while cars with aftermarket stripes fail to sell at all, or at values far lower than a factory-striped car. This difference in value is much, much larger than the original cost of the stripe.
