I am not so keen on the white car. To me the gold and white just don't work together. Taste is very personal. The red car is the IMSS demonstrator. It will go for type approval. Cool that we crossed paths at SOCC - next time please say hello. Took my baby swimming.
I posted the pictures of the white/gold 430S in the 360/430 section. Getting pretty favourable comments. Seems 430S's with stripes are popular in any colour. Any other HK fchatters been in to see the car? Hard to get a good photo of the gold. I just had my old cheap camera
It weird, i never would have thought gold wheels on a 430 would look good, i doubt they would look good on a 599 or a 612 but then again maybe its the fact that its and option from Ferrari and that makes it "OK".
To me the gold wheels seemed like a pretty naff idea. Black car + gold wheels = JPS tribute car. They are growing on me but you really need the right overall look. I am still 100% happy with my choice of standard wheels, standard stripe on white car with black interior. I ordered black brake calipers which suit the personality of the car. I will also tint my windows. I am planning to pay tax and expensive factory options become ridiculous after tax
Nice move on having the windows tinted i think it would complete the look of the car. Where will you have them done, so far ive seen only subpar jobs here, tons of tiny bubbles all over the film. The standard wheels are silver or charcoal? I wonder how many scuderia deliveries will be in white here, so far 2 plus yours?
I get my tinting done at some sh_tty little place in Tok Kwa Wan. They did a good job on my silver 599, black 159SW, bianco fuji QP, Previa 3.5... Maybe I am not fussy enough but I am happy with the work and the price. White 430S's seem to be surprisingly popular in HK. Not sure how many there will be? Standard wheels are charcoal
I visited IMSS on the weekend and took funnily enough took one photo.. the front wheel of the white Scuderia they have on the showroom floor. Agree with you on the gold wheels. Nice choice on Scud, will look smart black calipers especially will top it off. IMO tinting windows is the single best thing you can do to enhance the look of a car. Do all my cars and they look great!
Greetings to you all. I'm new to this forum, I recently just took delivery of a red F430. Just dropping by to say hi to you all. I also saw the white 430 scud at the dealership when I picked up my car, its been sitting there for quite awhile. It looks amazing! Oh yeah do you guys go to SMD? I've never been and I wanna go this weekend. Its supposed to be sunny this weekend, sort of nice for a change...kind of sick of the rain, so hopefully there will be lots of cars out. Where do the SMD guys meet usually? 5:45 outside IFC? or do they all just meet up at Luk Keng?
Big congrats on your 430 and welcome to fchat! Can't help you with SMD - I lost interest in this years ago. Advice is to be careful - many people lose their licences and looking at your 430 from the passenger seat will be pretty boring

Cool gtg u got there back in LA man, amazing turn out. A friends brother from Jakarta has a black/white veyron in LA, not sure if has taken delivery yet but i was told he ordered it a while back, ill find out more and let u know. As for the Novitec 430, i havent been down to the showroom, no point really for me anymore haha.
