Yeah wanted a Viper Green GT3 RS in Dec - dealer (unnamed) said he could get me one but couldn't in the end. I have PCCB on 911 (just fantastic) but NO GT3s and only a few RS came with them so used was not an option.... Then I thought about CS when they couldn't deliver. Mate has GT3 which is fun but saw CS in SYD last week and just sex on wheels!

    Do you track the 911?

I have never really seen the point of CCB on road cars, since the only benefit they offer is elimination of brake fade at high brake temperatures. Is this true, or is there some other benefit to CCB? Under road conditions they don't offer superior braking, do they?

Genuine question. Just wanting to learn. The first time I tracked my 430 I hit serious break fade on lap 5 (!!!) of Pukekohe, and thought CCB would have been great. But in general road use standard brakes are fine - I just couldn't see the justification for the extra $XX,000, given that I would track no more than 3 days a year ...

The PCCB is amazing and I think a must have option. Compared to non PCCB it has incredible feel and instant retardation which is great. It also takes about 5kg off per corner which improves the ride and handling significantly. Wife got a Cayman PD1 with non PCCB recently and I am regretting not getting in spite of the price - believe it - they are THAT good! I have yet to track 911 but for road use they are great - also get no brake dust...

Nice shots, has this got red leather? Saw one in Contis the other day getting a pre delivery inspection and it was Fly Yellow over Red leather, not to my taste at all.

Is anyone going to the Lotus track day at Ruapuna tomorrow? Apparently a chance to take your own whatever and also drive some Lotus cars.

The owner of the F430 is getting his monies worth. He was in a picture from Ellersie race course from memory.
