If NJ got the hand, everyone would make it look like "The Bird"

How about screwing with them, and being Politically Correct?

    Agree 100%.

IMO vanity plates are egos gone 1 step too far.

The car makes enough of a statment and a regular plate says (to me) that the people who own it are well adjusted and in tune with the good fortune they enjoy.

As a joke, I was going to suggest "shrt-pekr"...probably too many letters though

Someone on here in California has a hand on their plate. It's something like this:

    [hand]YWHENL8 (handy when late)

    Pretty cool.

im still thinking of more..personally i think a plate fitted to that specific car seems much more sophisticated that the generic, any car "cul8r" thats just my opinion. i think the ferrari theme or specific f430 theme seems more appropriate for a beast like the f430

i do agree with the earlier statement, the custom plates that any car can have are tacky, however imo plates suited just for that car like the ones i listed above are suited just to your ferrari and f430. as if the 430 doesnt say enough by itself alone.

Maybe it's just me (and you? :) but years and years ago when vanity plates were first allowed there was a real cutesy factor about the whole thing. Now it seems so common and so passe. And quite frankly if you're asking other people what you should have on the tag then what's the point? I mean if you can't even say that you came up with your own "clever" tag...... well, I just don't get it.

Not that I think he needs anyone to defend him, but I think he is having fun. I'll bet he doesn't even need any help.

If I was getting the car I would throw a party. So I would believe that this is (in part) his way of having some fun with it.

By the way, I don't think they are passe. I think a very many of us can enjoy a well done vanity plate and it can be a positive part of the overall presence of the car.

    Thanks very much.
I am having fun.I have eleven cars and only one vanity tag.
I appreciate the comments either way.
    God bless America.
You want to make negative comments on someones motivation, you have the right.
I just think some of these ideas would look great on the car and i already have a few i am going to try and get in the next day or so.I also have a ton of these gas gift cards that i buy and use for gifts and tips and would love to pass one along.
    Take care
    Eric

Yes...went to the NJ DMV and registered the car.
They made me take an app. and mail to Trenton for "vanity plates"
They gave me generic plates for the time being.
I will know soon what choice was available.
    I tried 4.

That last one might cause just a little ill will these days, but as we used to say "if you got it, flaunt it".
