Dean, just saw you had your username changed to reflect your newest acquisition... I say: why, Dean, why? Does the 348 heritage get dumped just like that? Now I may not be one to talk (hehe), but this may call for a meeting of the 348 Brotherhood Censuring Committee... After all, if you want your place in the 348 Hall of Fame secured, you'll have to show that changing your username is indeed NOT a slap in the face to all 348 owners past and present!!
LOL Dave! The 348 was my first Ferrari after being a Porsche man for 10 years. The fact that I went to a 355 after the 348 and not back to Porsche is a solid fact that the 348 was well beyond expectations. I will always be a 348 brother, even if I had to send some men with dark suits to convince Chris (VTC) of this fact!!! Once a brother, always a brother! LOL!!!
Thanks guys! I finally took it yesterday for a ride, and don't know where to start explaining the experience. It is such a freakin joy to drive!! The sound of the engine after the bypass valves open is just fantastic!! The shifter is so smooth compared to my previous 348! It shifts smooth right from the start as opposed to having to get better as the fluids warm up. There is a huge difference in speed, the seats are way more comfortable than the carbon leather seats I had in the 348 and the power steering makes it even more comfortable (I guess I will have to order the styling gel now)!
