White GT3 (997) parked somewhere near Hempstead yesterday as well as a DB9 Convertible nearby

Also saw a Quattroporte driving around Franklin Square area too

Had anyone caught that BMW 5 Series or M5 lately on the FDR on fire due to bad wiring job from an installation shop in Stamford?

 

didn't see that one, but I did see a totaled Dark Blue 911 Carrera S Cab on a flatbed in Manhattan. Every body panel was smashed, though it did look like the passenger compartment was in one piece. Hope everyone involved was ok.

 

Monday (I think) Dark Blue Aston Martin Vanquish driving on 5th between 51st and 52nd with Florida Plates.

I've seen a whole bunch of Maybachs and Phantoms throughout New York City. Lots of Continentals (flying spurs mostly, some GTCs and only one GT since last Monday). I often see an older model Blue Bentley Azure with Jersey Plates parked between 5th and madison near some hotel (don't remember what street but somewhere in the 50s).

This past weekend- two Bentley Continental GTs parked in front of a Restaurant in White Plains

A few days ago: Gray Aston Martin Vanquish with dealer plates (from miller motorcars) leaving the Whole Foods/Cheesecake Factory/etc. parking garage in White Plains near the Westchester Mall.

Yesterday: Gray Shelby Cobra (replica?-looked pretty real if it was) on Central Avenue with blue Jersey plates

 

East 55th Street, St. Regis Hotel. I saw it yesterday.

edit: Why are there so many exotics in NY with Florida plates, I've seen so many of them in the past few weeks???

 

Could be similar situations to mine I guess. I have SC tags on mine. Reg'd out of my brother's house in Charleston since
1. no emissions
2. insurance is a third of the cost out of NY
3. no obnoxious inspection and reg stickers to marr the windshield
4. no obnoxious front lic plate to worry about

 

Also many have homes in Florida and ship their cars back and forth. Winter in FL, summer in NY.
