Another week, another gathering. I'm starting to figure out who is who. There seems to be all sorts of different folk showing up, I've found myself really appreciating the long time enthusiasts that know all about the cars and racing history and have so much to share.

There seemed to be a lot heavier police presence this week compared to any other, especially after the Carrera GT came in. Might have been insulted by my earlier comment about how it's engine purred, but this time it roared and shook the pillars of heaven. I saw at least one resident taking pictures, hopefully as a fan, and not as part of a complaint!

All in all another great week. I always feel a little humbled bringing my little lotus in, but people have been really great.

Looks like another fun meet. I'm sorry I missed it. (I stayed up too late playing cards.)

Don't mind at all, make sure you use the better resolution shot stored on photosleeve. I'm hoping Jason posts his pics too, I'm just a hack with a camera, he has talent.

Jason takes some astounding images. Seen and composed in ways I would have never fathomed. I especially like his "people" framed with car images rather then just straight cars. Well Done!

Thanks, Jason. I think this is the first time for me to see a photo of my car (DSC_0429 in your album) even after 2 plus years of ownership.

So that was you on Duc, Joe? I posted a note over on the Desmo site about this event. Sounds like there might be a few more Duc's coming this Saturday.

I don't think I'll be there this week. I volunteer down at Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium on Saturday's, so I'm usually down there Saturday morning's feeding the sharks.

ne might almost say it was a lame turnout, except the only thing lame were those who didn't show up. Great morning, nice collection of cars, and good company. Nice to see some classic rides, a few newer beasts (including one just a day off the transporter: thanks for bringing it out Andy and James!), and a few old friends. A shame the bakery can't open an hour earlier.

Here are a few more pics to add to the collection along one extra from the historics.
