Who made your replica? More specifically, who made the hard top with gull wing doors? I've never seen that type of hard top on a Cobra. I've seen other removable hard tops, but nothing like that. Who makes it?

My brother built the car, he had a DAX Supertube Chassis and a tatty fibreglass body, sourced the engine in the states, and built it up from there, the roof, front air ducts, dash, roll bars, exhausts, engine bay were all designed and made by him (even sprayed). He drove it to work everyday and Le Mans a couple of times, in the UK it rains a fair bit so the roof is ideal and tight fitting being handmade (on an English Wheel). My brothers business is making cars to customer requests. All sorts to be honest, He is currently working on a Model B Hot Rod with all alloy body, a Lagonda Vintage full body, a Joe Gemsa Miller Race car with an Offy engine and his own Maserati sports car. attached a some pictures, I have more on my laptop but I am at work at the moment. My brother works on his own, also he has 2 MG K3 Chassis's (1 replica, 1 real) waiting to be delivered for new bodies. The burgandy 2 seater was a customers, it has a full alloy body , not really my brothers cup of tea, but hey you make what your client wants. The engine is a highly tuned Datsun 260Z engine, the car is frightning, the Cobra was both docile in tarffic, crazy at speed. The Maserati should be quite lively, it has the 3.7 straight six, it is in the process of being rebuilt with racing pistons, lightened crank etc

I can post some more pictures if requested.

Adam your brother's work looks very high quality.
Do you think he'd be happy about you posting them in the "Crappy replicas" thread?

Start a new thread. I'd love to see some of the other cars he has done.

I have noticed all these RR replicas poping up which don't make no sense man. Id rather go out there and go buy a used lexus or something and throw some dubs on that!.

Meh I don't like Luxry cars much anyways.

Different strokes for different folks...looks like a lot of work has been put in, the ROI might not be brilliant.

Not even its a Corvette thats trying to be a wanna be kitcar :p its not even a replicar but a terrible body kit like those morons who do the whole rice thing where they slap lambo doors on civics. Yeah stuff like that. The body kit you see there has absolutely nothing to do nor has any relations with the kitcar scene.

    thats what you call rice!

A professionally installed Ferrari Kit at that!

Wow, just think of all the hours of schooling and hands on you must have to be a professional Ferrari kit installer.
