Can any of you 328 owners out there confirm that this is a manual window winder crank for a 328. I thought it may be from a 400 but was informed that it's 328 only.

Any idea if it fits anything else or if it's a desirable component.

Yep, that's a 328 manual crank. You can pop the round blanking plugs off the door panels (on those that have them) and access the manual crank fitting. That tool has to be screwed ALL the way flush with the flange for it to release the window for manual rolling. I have one for my 86 328. I don't, however, recognize the flat metal piece pictured with the tool.

Was that crank part of the 328 tool kit? If not, what was the source? Still available?

I have a passenger window on my 308 w/a bad motor...but no crank tool. Is there any other way to get an alternate tool in there so It can be lowered?

I bought my tool from Daniel at Ricambi. I'm sure it's an original tool; looks just like this one.
