Does the black door panel indicate a repaint?

    That two a week die.

This is one that is serving that number. Really too bad, but believable.

Do any of you have a clue what a working used gearbox goes for? A pair of unwarped heads? Cam covers, springs, suspension bits, steering rack, hood, bumper, manifolds, sensors, NLA plastic lights/signals, etc.??? There was $13,000 in used parts sitting right there in front of you (probably even more $$$ if you ebay'ed everything). The market for good, used NLA items for 308s is STRONG right now.

does anyone knows how to get in contact with this seller? I tried the # posted but it is not operational.

I am not too far from it and would like to take a look at it.

    Thank you.

Problem is that many of the parts are as worn as the bit you need to replace.
My guess, it was parked up when the belt broke. If so, forget that head etc.

    Thank you very much!

I will call the guy tomorrow and, if he still has it, will go and take a look at it. I would like to restore this car and I believe it can come back just beautiful. The truth is that I just sold my '81 308 and I already miss it. I just love the 2v injected. I am doing a rotisserie restoration on my '71 Fiat 124 sport spyder and the only driver I have is the '60 Fiat 500 D (13 hp and 50-60 mpg).
    Need a project!

Well that would be a happy ending. I talked to the guy about shipping it to NoVA and I think you can talk him into free delivery since you are pretty close. He does have the title and keys.

I saw this car was still sitting there this past Sunday but according to my information it was SOLD yesterday for about $6500 to someone in southeastern Virginia. So which one of you bought it and what are you going to do with it?
