What would you do in this case?

  1. Seek criminal prosecution

  2. File a suit in small claims court for $2,500.00

  3. Get him to agree to make me payments

  4. Let it go

You and a ton of others that posted here! If I was one of those mean types who did not care about being locked up for 30 years, He'd be having all of his meals through a straw right now.

Not sure I understand, as I have received the first garnishment check. I'll have to see what the future brings. People can quit their jobs and then you have to chase them down again, get zero commission at work (to tap), have a wife come in for child support that would get priority, drop dead, etc.

What I should do is buy a new 4-Runner from him at the dealer he works at. That would help guarantee him some commission that I can tap:D

Is he a mechanic at the dealership and if so does he have his BAR license? Others need to know of the way he conducts himself.

    Nah.

Send send a mate in to um and ah over a purchase. Muck him about, hovering on the brink of buying. Then pull out!
How many friends, up for some payback do you have?
Waste a bunch of his time for no result. Seems fair.

THAT was a fun scene, but being a civil matter, they could not do too much. A couple of hells Angels would of had more of an impact!

Well, today brings check #2 in the mail with a nice pop! Again, get a good lawyer on matters like these. They are worth their weight in gold..........Even the tall skinny ones :D

Sweet... for the longest time I thought that as a tall skinny guy my career in law was doomed. i am glad us tall skinny guys can be worth our weight in gold, even if we don't weigh all that much.

At current values I am worth about $3.25 million in gold... not a bad nest egg... but I am hoping to build an egg that will make a few more omelets than that one would.

Only a year and a half of school left and I can start in earnest toward building mine.
