Make sure you bring it back in one piece as I fancy a drive in it.

    Looks great Adam!

187 all the way, only a few hours to go now huh?
PLEASE guys, watch out, take care boys on the way to Portsmouth, especially near Southampton Area.

Those boys in Blue have almost ZERO tolerance to speeds above 70.0 mph and you lot will kind of stick out...

I was amazed but metal exhausts polish up to a super glass finish using just a Porter Cable or a UDM and some Menzerna with a hard pad.

Hi Dave , engine bay now has a different look ( will create seperate thread sometime soon ) with Tubi sports Cats and NGT exhaust system ( Awesome Awesome sound !! ) - Want to get the old system polished up and stored in case it ever needs to go back.

Any recommendations? I have a half stainless system on my car and half mild - do you think the mild will polish up to a decent shine?

TBH with a polishing kit and a bit of time they will come up really well, but be careful how much pressure you put on the box, the outer skin (which is just cosmetic I think) is really thin and will dent easy. The exhaust is a piece of cake to get off AS LONG as the bolts aint seized, which they probably will be. The ones holding the heat sheild on tend to break the captive nut off behind them and then the only way is to grind them off, unless you have a poverty spec Strad without heat sheilds ;)
