Does anyone have any knowledge of an MC12 in this region? because one was spotted in baltimore cruzing the streets. also regarding to any other knowledge of higher end exotics such as enzo's, 599 gtb's, LP640, CGT etc. ive heard of all these being seen in maryland but havent seen them at all
I would LOVE to here about this. As i have had no luck contacting any cgt owners near VA. I was actually under the impression that MC12's were not allowed into the country due to safety or emission standards...
Locally-owned red Enzo in Virginia. Owned by a great guy. I've been at Summit Point on same track days hosted by FOW. One nice car, for sure. The ultimate, IMHO. Here is a pic I took of it at FOW a while back. Image Unavailable, Please Login
never seen an mc12 around here, but there are plenty of the others. was driving with the lp-640 on sunday. he walked my diablo on 29. amazingly quick.
^^^ I've met the owner of the enzo but still haven't had the pleasure of seeing his car...Hopefully one day I'll bump into him driving it.
I saw an MC12 in the back of a Horseless Carriage truck at FOW well over a year ago. Always wondered if it ended up locally someplace. I was under the impression that there were a total of 7 MC12's in the USA. Yes, there are def. CGT's and a few Enzo's around. I've spotted a yellow CGT on Rt. 28 heading southbound before, as well as a silver CGT in Reston. I also know that there are LP640's and 599 GTB's in our area as well.
I saw a dark grey 599 cruising in Bethesda, and know of an F40 around here, but I haven't seen anything outrageous prowling the DC streets.
It is a tough thing when you have to get in line for F40 parking! (pic taken at FOW one day) Image Unavailable, Please Login
I met the local Enzo owner as well. Really nice guy and his car is absolutely stunning in person. I've seen his car on Fairfax County Parkway on another occasion and I was surprised he even recognized me in my S2000. Aside from that, I haven't seen or heard of any MC12's being around. Didn't they only federalize 5 of those things for the U.S.?
yes maserati made a very limited amout of street legal mc12's the track/race car version was 17 ft. long the street legal version is said to be 15. but thats awsome! ide love to see the enzo around here or at some gatherings soon! who ever knows him should deffinatly try to get him to come to even the sunday morning gathering! that would be awsome.
Keith, You speak the truth. I actually have an old photo of you with the Enzo. (ignore those other groupies around you at the time) Ron Image Unavailable, Please Login
There was a black MC12 at Pocono a couple weeks back for the Belle Machinna event. Here are links to a couple pictures: http://RichK.smugmug.com/photos/317973347_ALdwr-XL.jpg http://RichK.smugmug.com/photos/319674663_dW6mX-XL.jpg The whole gallery is here: http://RichK.smugmug.com/gallery/5233931_VkFFK/1/319674663_dW6mX
Wow! If there IS an MC-12 around here, I would love to see one at a future event!! We need to hear more about this car. The Black Corse at Pocono is owned by FoLI. As Toggie has mentioned (and shown above) there is an Enzo in the area. There's also another Enzo in McLean although neither of them have appeared at any recent FCA events. Below is a picture of the 2nd local area Enzo while on display at this years Cavallino Classic in West Palm Beach, Fl. We all know that there's also a local F40 and one was just recently sold at FoW - but I'm not sure if it was sold locally or not. I haven't seen the the Yellow Carrera CT in a long time. It's has usually been spotted in the Manassas/Centerville area. Bill Image Unavailable, Please Login
one of our very own local f-chatters has an f40. i have seen three mc12's at shows. that means i've seen about half of them! Unlikely you will see an enzo at an informal gathering. Specially that one at cav. i think it has 25 miles on it.
The Enzo was purchased on Saturday and was out at the track on Monday. Photo is with front end taped, he drove it in same group with my spider. Rob in Potomac Image Unavailable, Please Login

Maserati of Baltimore and Maserati NA are bringing an MC12 to the Wings and Wheels segment of The Concorso, Celebrating the Art of the Automobile to benefit our troops and the USO on Saturday, Septmeber 6th. http://www.usometrodc.org/eventsconcorso.htm Not sure it will be at the Concorso portion at Power Plant live on Sunday, September 7th or not.
I haven't seen it, but there was a thread around here that said someone drove his to the country day school in bethesda or something like that.
