I was with a NZ friend yesterday & he just bought a very rare '94 964 Speedster in yellow. This car was from the Royal Brunei garage & only had 7k km on it. Apparently the dealer has some connections with the palace & brought about 50 cars over. His client bought an ultra rare RHD Ferrari Daytona convertible for a cool NZ$1million & has a fine garage of Enzo, Carrera GT, 612 etc etc. Apparently he was the inventor of 42 below Vodka, concocted the alochol in his garage & sold it to bacardi for a cool NZ$138million.... Btw, the FD interest there is now about 9%PA & private institiutions offer about 11%... foreigner tax @ just 10%

hope he converted out his NZD. Currency is so crap he could have made a very ncie trade moving out of NZD then back in a few months later.....

Yap, market's bad over there now. Landing interest is over 11%... & lots of mortagages popping up. F&B has inflated over 50% within the last 6 months or so. But apparently that Vodka guy has a Midas touch. Did power plant & sold to US investor... You know, that Vodka has a nice story. Apparently when they were filming LOR there few yrs back, he supplied it to some of the crew. And when the filming packed up, they wanted more & off it goes to Hollywood. The rest is history. If only the Or-dao-you I made can sell to mediaCorp
