348 Speciale on Ebay for less than $40k...

If its the same car we are talking about, I asked the seller when was the last maj service - he said April 2002. So, its time I suppose. But, might be a nice one for someone.

 

LOL. He says "my mechanic says the problem with the ac is the control panel, says it will cost about $300."

 

I'm sure if it was only $300 they'd fix it themselves.

 

Mismatched tires, missing the Kevlar seats, and they can't be bothered to make a $300 fix (like that's really all it'll be) on a car they're asking $40k for, plus needs a major and who knows what else that'll turn up.... well you get what you pay for.

 

The serial number indicates its #62, so at least that part is right. That price scares me. Something is clearly wrong with that car. Buyer beware.

 

Never reached reserve ... think the highest bidder had it at around 33K .... Hmm wonder, I have a hunch that they wanted 39K, but would let her go for $36 or $37 ...
