The price for the rear window glass is quite scary. Mine's turning white at the edges. I'm going to try the Lexan ones cos they're alot more affordable, but I am told that they scratch easily. I figured I'd try anyway. I think they cost about 600+ to 800, depending on suppler.

Ill report on how it goes. (once I get them from ferrari parts exchange - they've delayed about a month due to weather apparently - but I think I should be getting it soon)

If you are picky enough to replace you rear screen due to white edges trust me, Lexan is not going to last in a road car, even if you are super careful it will get scratched to the point it goes hazy in no time. I have it in my current race car and had it in my last race car, it just is not durable enough for a road car IMO

    +1 :D

Hi Sy, I think there are a lot of us with the same problem.Any one thought about some type of group buy. Maybe we could find a company that would be interested ????? The one thing we would need to bare in mind is,rear window heating?

I'm in need too, as mine is cracked. My insurance company has approved the repair, so I need a place in SoCal that can do it. Any referrals?

Of course the window would have to be broken to claim crack etc

Got a brand new one to go in mine, Ebay £300 with the new rubber seal.

Will be fitting it soon, but would like to stop the "white fogging" i think it water sitting in the seal and creeping up the glass ??? need to seal the edge of the glass
    somehow ???

What if I get some tough external window film and protect the Lexan with that? Would that work?

A group buy would be very interesting for me if it could save me money. Only problem is I'm all the way in South East Asia!

Anyway, yes, the 348 and 355 use the same rear glass. It has heater elements embedded in the glass, although I did see one 348 on the streets of this country without any elements nor trade marks, so it was completely aftermarket and unbranded!
