Must agree....his car sets the benchmark for all the others. Truth be known it took him many many hours of hard work to get that car to where it is today.

Great work Vern, one day I'll be there.....if I don't go bankrupt first...lol

George & Prostock, Thanks you guys for the comments. It will probably never be finished but I did buy this one to drive so it will never be perfect. Will agree the 355 is my favorite modern F car especially the CH version.

What red is that Llenroc? It seems so much richer that others I have seen. Beautiful!

...and they look like they need cleaning. In fact the only good thing that I can say about dark wheels is that you do not have to clean them. But then its a matter of taste.

I like white - purest - but the silver is great. Nero? Can't get into it. Great for car, not so great for wheels. Doesn't matter for the track - isn't black preferred anyway? Kind of reminds me of pimping the ride on the street. :p

Just your basic Rosso Corsa, might have been a day that the beast got waxed. Seems that Ferrari red reacts differently in different light.

Question: Could any 348 owners with Challenge Wheels confirm that you're using stock 348 wheel bolts with the Challenge Wheels? From pics it looks like that's the case, although I know Hill Engineering has studs and nuts that also are used. I've searched threads and it's hard to verify.

Here's why I'm asking: I installed Challenge Wheels last month, and used my stock 348 wheel bolts. The thread engagement with these bolts was same as for the stock wheels... 6 to 7 threads, which is at or near full depth of hub thread engagement. I drove the car without issue a couple weekends ago, but took the car out again on Saturday, and had some bad shimmy. I made it home OK, and found bolts on both rears had loosened. I used approx. 75ft-lbs to torque them when installing.

I'm sure I'll have to at least also buy new wheel bolt inserts, as a precaution. Any info appreciated!

No, they are not stock. Stock 348 bolts are 55mm.

Hill specs a 52mm (like a normal 355) but with a different head for the rears on CH wheels for 348 use.
