    The car lives up to the hype. It has a combination of performance and usability that I would think might only be matched by a 997 GT2. My initial (brief) impressions beyond those already shared on the board and in the media:

    1. The superfast gearbox is ridiculous. The ease and quickness of gear changes is literally laughable. I expect that this transmission will win over the remaining six-speed die hards who still have an open mind - and some who don't.
    2. The snort and wail of the exhaust is intoxicating. The seconadries open at about 3500 revs and the car just begs to be driven hard. The car is FAST.
    3. The Scuderia is materially more usable than the Stradale. It has good torque and is pretty quiet at low revs and can be driven on the highway without fatiguing the driver (none of which I could say about my CS). The CS may have greater appeal to the driver looking for the "rawer" car.
    4. The steering is super precise and feels like it has the perfect weight coming off center.
    5. Build quality looks to be first rate. There is carbon fiber everywhere and the technical fabric on the headliner looks fabulous. No squeaks or rattles thus far.
    6. I've never ordered Ferrari luggage before but did with this car and was amazed at how cool it is. It matches the interior of the car and has the Scuderia stripe design very cleverly incorporated. If you have a Scud order window still open I would highly recommend getting at least part of the luggage set, even if just to give it as a very special gift.

    I'll share more impressions as I gather more miles.

    Wow! What an amazing car! My favorite color for a FCar is Rosso Mugello, but there is just something about your Scuderia that makes it gorgeous. You did a great job with the specifications. Congrats and enjoy!
