    Took the 575 out for the first time this year. To hear that V12 scream down the road was beyond words. From the turn of the key to pulling the parking break after the 30 minute ride was over, I had a smile from ear to ear. Stability controll had some fun with the slush and ice run offs, and its too bad the cabin wasn't generating much heat off the rear defroster, ( no heated seats on any Ferrari of this type. ) Had a couple of people who had heads on some swivels because they were really gawking at the car. Can't wait till the temp to hit 50 so some detailing work can be done. This sun, little shot of warmth, and the sound and feel of that car, well I can't wait to meet all you 308 guys. Spring is right around the corner and it should be a great year. When is our first drive together?

    I'm taking out my F355 as soon as I get home...I hope it doesn't go up in flames. I haven't started the car since October.

    And this 308 guy can't wait to see your V-12!

    We're tentatively thinking about Meadowdale Racewoods for April.

    BTW: Non driving events coming up before that:

    March 13: Tech session at Bob Campen's
    March 20: Collector's market at Continental
    March 27: Go kart race in Buffalo Grove

    But if you need a sparring partner for racing up and down Lakeshore Drive, Gilles27 and I are always ready.
