    Texas of course!
Have a 1990 348TS, bought it from a forum member a while back. Problem is I haven't been able to enjoy the the car due to time and location constraints, and current situation doesn't seem to change that for a good while. I recently moved to a mountain property that is currently still being rehabbed, even though that should be done soon, not only is a proper garage still an issues, but access for such a low car isn't great, not to mention snow, gravel etc. Haven't had much luck finding storage in far west Texas yet where I still maintain an office and where I could still use it a few times a month, but need one that would also allow commendations to work on it indoors. On Top of all that, starting a new business in New Mexico next month in addition to a current one! So all this together and finishing the new house, has me thinking maybe I should welcome someone else into the brotherhood in the rare $30K-$40k range, and come back next year, hopefully not part of the sisterhood :p Have an enclosed trailer, could even arrange delivery.

Other option is keep looking for a storage facility, and finish the car up once I catch up with these other projects and properties, but it will sit for a very long time then. Wasn't as bad of an idea to hold and wait when I could see it every day, but now I don't. Thinking ebay, but hear bad stories and waste of time there, plus classifieds here also, though open to suggestions as well, not only how to sell it, but opinions on what you would do.

    About the car:

Red 1990 348TS, Driver condition, was tracked occasionally by previous owner. Has Tubi exhaust and test pipes, brembo big brake kit upfront, shocks re-valved and suspension setup by delta v, lowered, 355 wheels, new black wool carpet, hill engineering quick shift plate, pedals, gauge rings and other bright works. Also has challenge flat bottom steering wheel with working horn button.

    Needs:
    - Major Service, was planning on Norwood in Dallas or a shop in Phoenix.
    - Could use a respray if planning to use more for show then go (minor chips, scratches, etc,)
    - 355 wheels could stand to be refinished.
    - New battery.
    - Was going to refinish interior light colored leather items to black to make like new interior.
    - Have cloth OMP seats that should be recovered, was changing them out with black leather seats with Kevlar back which I also have, working on adjusting knobs for clearance.

Tex, I'll contact you next week if you don't mind. I've been looking for the right 348 for a while now, and actually like the idea of buying one needing a major. (The car would go straight to Norwood as I'm in the Dallas area.) In the meantime, can you post or email pictures? Thanks.

I'm just giving you a hard time about the pics.:) Based on your description this sounds like this would be a fun car when all is said and done.

If this is JJStecher's old car, I can vouch for the previous owner-he was very diligent!

The car ran well, and I feel bad now that it gets no use. Plan to move it and remount some seats in August if I still have it, and put a new battery in.

Friend of mine has been helping me search for suitable storage and work space should I decide to go that route. Was thinking in about a year would look into a 355, but honestly, don't care what anyone says, and the general non Ferrari public tends to agree, the 348 is better/more exotic looking to me. Shoot, in this setup, with another 100hp, wouldn't be thinking about 355. Oh man, here I go again talking myself out of selling it :)

I'd say keep it and find the storage if you can. Looks like a sharp car!

Any more pictures of the seats you have in there?

I would keep the car. From the "old" pictures, the car looks awesome! Id love to buy it obviously if I had the money! If the car is really what you want and you love it, you will find a way to keep it. I do think the car deserves proper attention from someone that has the time to enjoy the car, but that's your call. Finding a car exactly how you want it means spending a lot of money on it. If you already have what you want, find somewhere to store it. Are there local storage units with in a commute for you?

Can you post recent pictures please.

Wow that thing sits low! That is a really nice looking car. I wish I had the cash. Did I miss the mileage?

If you ever decide that you really would like to see it happy in a garage in Illinois, let me know. I can help you with that ;)

You must have some smoooooth roads around where you live.

I would love to run my car that low but it would hit on everything. Any idea what the road clearance is? Looks like about 2inch or 50mm.

Sits just a little higher in street form, but you are right, CLEARANCE and the other issue with where we are at right now mentioned in the starting post, being NM (bad roads + hills). Texas streets are generally pretty good, most exceptional in West Texas actually.

If Rob or anyone else wants to make a deal, let me know. I'm going to change the battery and get seats mounted again early next month hopefully in the meantime. After that can get some newer pics. Not getting much info here on what seats fit best, so its been some trial and error so far which is not only time consuming but gets a bit costly.

i have to do a few things (battery & seats) and get time to take the pics, think I've described the car well here, but will get the miles. Any other info you guys think I will need when posting the ad? Let me know, and until then, if anyone wants to send offers, please do so. In the meantime, I appreciate all the feedback.
