Any 288 GTO's for sale?

coachi, if you are serious you should discuss this with Ferrari of Houston.

The owner there has one in his collection and could maybe make a suggestion....I'd think at this juncture in time the 'Track Use Only' (or it it now Show and Display, Joe Sackey?) exemption would have great attraction given how close they are to total exemption....

Agreed, Show & Display is one route, but or many, myself included, the exercise is pointless if a road car cannot be used on the road...

 

For that, you could by a F50

 

I knew that F40 and 288 were a deal at a million for both...... Just didn't have that extra 7 digits laying around. And both were really low miles if I recall.........

 

In today's market, that was a LONG time ago...

Nice car. Could we get more info?

 

Full service just completed, accessory and timing belts, valve adjustment, re-torqued heads, cam and distributor seals, plugs, all fluids, new clutch, new tires, 10,500 KM.

 

I still can picture those cars in that ad from Wynn..... Better than the stock market eh??

 

A friend picked them both up...

 

Dare we ask the price?

Late to the show, but there is a full Super Car set in Utah. Which obviously includes a 288 GTO.

 

FWIW, the very last 288GTO to come off the factory line is in a private collection in Portland, OR.

 

Does a set trade at a premium to the sum of the 4 cars?
