    Anyone themselves or have a friend looking for a pretty straightforward internship for the rest of the summer? GDC is looking for someone to assist with washing/detailing/keeping the fleet looking perfect in our NJ HQ.

    This is our peak season so our full-time staff is running around most of the time and we'd like a few extra bodies to focus 100% on keeping the cars & warehouse looking perfect.

    Very simple: Have a terrific attention to detail and be psyched about spending lots of time touching, cleaning, and getting intimate with a bunch of exotic cars ;)

    Note you do NOT have to be an expert detailer -- as long as you're willing to learn and work your butt off, we'll teach you how to be terrific. Could be excellent experience if you're looking to get into detailing or work at a detail shop later on.

    wait until they find out interns not only have to wear a bikini, but they have to look good in one too!

    If only I were 18 again and didn't have to worry about taking care of a family and paying bills this would be a great opportunity. My son is only 2 right now, but I already have taught him about cars. Ferrari's and Carrera GTs are his favorite. If you have another spot open in 16 years, let me know ;-)

    Gotham will hire a 2 year old. No problem. It's part of their "head-start" program! Besides, it'll be nice to have someone in the office who Noah can connect with on an intellectual level.

    I thought it odd they advertised it as "Intern" as associated with school education.

    Yeah...since the acquisition, I'm just looking for things to do. Figured washing the GDC cars was a worthwhile alternative. :)

    On a serious note...I actually have a very good candidate that I've mentioned the Noah.

    Damn, I'd be all over this....but commuting 1.5 hours over and back from NJ isn't really an option for me right now.

    The intern cycle is working out great....We've had Mike, Drew and Vinny here (all friends of friends of fchatters) and they've had a blast. All have gone back to school now -- anyone else looking for hang out and help detail cars? Part-time / full-time / whatever...plenty of options. Let me know!

    Noah,
    I'm Colin, I'm 18, I live outside Philly and I'll check with my parents (still under their roof, so I have to get permission from them), but I'd glady help detailing on Saturdays and Sundays if time and my parents allow. I have a little experience detailing cars, but not a ton, mainly the washing, waxing, interior, wheels and tires and such. I'm a quick learner, and I am very eager to learn new things.
