I'm looking for a right hand inner tie rod for a 348 TS 1992. I'm getting huge quotes and was wondering if anyone out there can guide me to a vendor that could/would provide a re-build, or a decent price.

    Thanks.

Unfortunately, they don't sell the inner tie rod separately. You have to buy the whole steering rack assembly to my knowledge. It's about $2.6k, right?
They only sell the outer tie rod.

However, if someone is able to find one, I am looking for the same one... :)

Does it have a separate part number? If not, what's the part number for the rack?

The steering rack is part #155566 (for LHD cars). Even on the Ricambi site, it's $3700.

Dissassemble and document demensions. Moog can match them. I no longer have the part number this is available for most inner and outer tie rod ends.

Thanks for the info folks. I seem to have been able to find the part at Ricambi for a little over $250.00 USD. There are two versions, the difference being a type of nut, therefore you need to know which version is required (even for a same year car). I trust this will work because here (in Canada) some guys were quoting almost $6K for the parts (cause they don't sell the parts separately).

I've heard people say that most of the Ferrari tie rods are made by ZF and that they made Volvo ones very similar. There is a thread on the 456 side that has a conversion in depth using the volvo parts. There is also a guy in SC that will rebuild your whole rack for under 500 bucks and have it back to you in 48 hours with a lifetime warranty. I'm sure he can source the parts cheap. A lot of the 550/456 guys send their racks to this guy.
