Hi Everyone, I have a 2006 430 spider with 5900 miles haven't had any problems and had an uneventful 5000 mile oil change at the 3500 mile mark. Last week the car developed a loud "clicking" noise from the engine..most noticable at a stop. No check engine light or loss of power. Any ideas what this could be? Thanks in advance! Omar
exhaust manifolds.... factory recall/ bulletin or whatever they are called. I want a gold star if I am correct
Check your oil . . . Ferrari does NOT have a warning light when your low on oil, (like your average car) only a total loss of oil pressure light (AKA: your screwed light!) REMEMBER, the oil MUST be checked while VERY HOT and the engine still running as its a dry sump. Hope this helps.
As 05F430F1 said...... I too think it is the exhaust manifolds ...... either a loose flange or a crack ........... either way congratulations on driving your 430 hard enough to weed out some bad parts..... !!
