    Greetings,
    Just checking in to see if there is any Ferrari owners located in Central Oregon involved in FerrariChat?

    Just purchased a 328, and going to pick it up soon. Wanted to find out what people do around here for service. I did talk to Tonkin, so I feel better about that.

    Like to get feedback from some of the locals!!!

    Welcome! Congrats on your purchase. There are Oregon F-Chatters on here (I'm not one of them) that will be able to point you in the right direction (although I hear RTGT is great).

    Does being a Central Oregon Lambo owner count? :) I do know a couple of Ferrari owners who reside here in Bend. All of them that I know get their Ferraris/Lambos/Porsches etc. serviced here in Bend at German Master Tech (run by Tim Morris). Those guys are great and do fantastic service; they just finished the 7.5k mile service on my Gallardo. It's the only place locally that I would even consider taking my cars.

    folks in the area. I have not heard of that shop, so I will check it out. If nothing else, It is nice to know there is a shop in the area, maybe I can get a job!

    I have seen a few Ferrari's in the area, but no Lambo's, so that's cool to know you are out there too!!!

    on the car myself. I have over 30 years experience working on Italian cars, but want to know where most folks in Oregon get their work done. I did talk to the dealer in Portland, and I was fairly impressed by the attitude and knowledge.

    This purchase came about a little sooner than I expected, so I am trying to gather as much information as possible.

    Is there a Oregon Ferrari Club? Or a Italian car club?

    Although I am not a Ferrari owner, I am very passionate about them and hope to own one someday. As for Ferrari owners, I have seen many Ferraris throughout Central Oregon. Here are some of Ferraris I have seen:

    308 GTB
    400i
    Testarossa
    348TS
    348 Spider
    F355 GTS
    575M Maranello
    575M Maranello #2
    360 Modena
    360 Spider
    Challenge Stradale
    F430
    F430 Spider

    I also know of more Ferraris that I haven't photographed yet including: 1962 250 GTE, a 1973 Daytona, red challenge stradale, couple Modenas, red 575M Maranello just to name a few.
    I've also see a number of other exotics around Bend including a Gallardo, Gallardo Spyder, a 40th anniversary Murcie, LM002, 5 Ford Gts, A DB9, V8 Vantage, Quattroportes, Continental Gts, Z8's, a Carrera GT, Vipers.

    I hope to see you in your 328 soon!

    Congrats on the 328!!!

    Yes....there is a NW Region of the Ferrari Club of America. Very active group of (roughly) 250 members. Go to www.ferrariclubofamerica.com and click on the "regions" tab. Of course, you are going to want to scroll down to the Northwest region. Should be all the info you need. If you join the national club - you are automatically inducted into the region. There is a nice monthly newsletter to keep you up to date on club drives, tech sessions and social events.

    In fact, there should be quite a few members heading down to the Sunriver Car Show later this year.

    Congratulations on your Ferrari, Bob and welcome to the f-chat family!

    I am not personally a Ferrari owner, but I do reside in Central Oregon. One thing I can suggest, is attending the Sunriver Exotics show later this summer. There you can connect with people from the Northwest Chapter of the Ferrari Club of America, Ferrari owners from Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, as well as local Central Oregon Ferrari owners. There should be some info up here soon about the event.

    Again, congrats on the Ferrari and I hope to see you around town in it soon!!
