See you guys in a few..
Thanks for setting this up, John. Was a very nice morning. It was very cool to be able to make some kids going through rough times happy... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I can't believe everyone took off right in front of the police getting onto FDR!!! Like usual, I couldn't keep up with anyone ... Not even Hovik.
Josh (whom I was riding shotgun with), Joey, Emil, and this guy in a T-Rex just took off on the FDR, when we got past the tunnel, no exotics were behind us, we had to pull over to let people catch up.
Great event today. Here are a few pictures from the event, including a few of the kids, which really was the point of being there, after all. Nice to meet a bunch of you today. Look forward to more of these. And a special thanks for John and his wife for all the work today! Nicely done. Wonderful day for such a great event. I get such a warm feeling when I see events like this. BTW, I thought the cars were going the other way so as a result the video isn't very good, but I tried to get back... http://youtube.com/watch?v=IohXYYQ1BtY
Sorry to have missed it but looks like another successful event for the kids. Nice job John, hope everyone had a good time. I think I would have stood there drooling by the Scuderia most of the time, Emil!
Good meeting you today! I do not have a WIFEE!!!!! My sister was there as well as some lady friends... no wife!!! LOL
OMG!!! I told her that was not my car.. WTF?!! Under my name it said "lamborghini owner!" hahahahahahaa
Since they cut your interview short I decided to post my own version of it http://youtube.com/watch?v=p2ibgOHI-6o
Thanks guys for making this such a special day!!! The kids had an awesome day and the those that were too sick to come out have a cart of gifts/toys waiting for them. No tickets! No accidents... it was an awesome day and an awesome run. LMAO!!!! -about "Lamborghini Owner" subtitle!!!!! hahahahahahahh; I told her it was not mine!! Hovik- special thanks to you bro for your continued hard work, generosity, persistence, and overall success at executing a plan... you are the MAN. Lukas- thanks for the video coverage... can't wait to see your edited version. Chris (Ron's wife)- Special thanks to you for guarding the gifts and handing them out to the kids. Kenny.. much love.. thanks for your help today. Thanks again to everyone; it was great meeting new faces... looking forward to many more!!
Nice John! Why are you holding out? Didn't know you're in a Lambo now! Haha. Really sorry I couldn't make it out today. It was a great day and great turnout!
I have an arse load of pictures. I guess if anyone wants me to post them all I'll need to start another thread but here are a couple. I actually ran out of time to shoot the cars, thats why you guys might have seen a kid with a camera running around like a jackass when you were all driving away. I didn't realize 12 o clock rolled up that quickly. As I said I have a ton more and if you guys are interested I'll gladly post them up. Chris - sweet pics. Was it you with Canon's L-lens in white t-shirt (which got dirty from the lifts)?
No I was the one in the grey T shirt and blue shorts, with the backpack who was sweating his ass off. Nikon D200, I changed lenses about 4 or 5 times. Oh and the Video is sweet. I really liked it a lot... what editing program are you using?
I remember you. You were working hard out there in that sun. I was trying to hide in shade ;-) I'm glad you like the vid. I'm working in Adobe Premiere CS3.
