So I was in the school of doubters on this thing (back at the beginning of the thread) and I had a chat with Adams (the guy who makes it) about the flex issue. He came up with a new hose piece that has a nice flexible section. I had my car apart this winter for some maintenance and decided it was time to lose the factory drier hose because it was getting cracked and crappy looking. I decided that it was becoming a vacuum leak risk. A quick look at the replacement cost of the OEM one swayed me to the Motovanti.

I got one of the first stainless ones to roll off the assembly line and it is pretty darned slick (maybe I should say shiny). It's bling man! PIMP MY RIDE! Anyway, it looks great, works great and because it is now supplied with a hose connector that has a lot of flex (via a relief roll) I don't have to worry that anything will be damaged if the engine moves in the mounts. Also, it came with really nice T-bolt type hose clamps. In my book, well worth it.

You sir, are a virtual bling machine! Kidding - - I think it looks great. Glad the flex issue is settled for you. Now, all you need to do is pull your engine to detail the rest of it! Go Birdman go!

Had reluctantly put a few of you off on the 'new' Motovantis since I was getting the silly 'hump' hose upgrade done. I had 5 made with ALUMINUM tubes, polished, hump hoses, stainless clamps...

Two already sold, so I've got 3 left. PM me or respond here, whatever. (see more here http://www.ferrarichat.com/ferrariads/showproduct.php?product=1598 ) Thanks all. You people make me want another 328!

You got it. It's yours. So... let me see here... what's the 'oldest' car it COULD be on? You got me thinking.

It is sort of a trick answer. From the factory I think it would be the Mondial 8, so that would be 1980?
    I think I have the oldest non-original application. Mine is a 1975.
