Steve, I do not wish this to go back and forth, its a waste of time. I acknowledged that I have at times become pissed at some people's conclusion jumping. I do not recall that I personally attacked you during any discusion about Massa rain driving. If I did, I certainly apologize. If all I did is strongly disagree with your opinion, so what? This is a F-O-R-U-M.

The point I was making is that irrespective of how much your opinion is being ripped apart, the discussion has nothing to do with you. When you start adding those little finishing comments, then you start making it personal. Like when you took my words out of context and made that "Yep and that sum's you up" comment. Its hard, but just do not take it personally. We can't all agree.

Jim has a right to his opinion, and frankly, what makes you think you are right and he is not? You both could be wrong. Or maybe you are correct and he is not. Or maybe you are both partially correct, or...............partially wrong.....or..whatever.

Anyway, for example, you know damn well I find Hamilton's response to the press after running into the rear of Raikkonen to be ludicrous. That opinion has nothing to do with you. So do not take it personally. We just disagree. Ted thinks Ron Dennis is gentleman, I think he is a jerk, Ron Dennis that is. That has nothing to do with Ted. I feel sorry for Ted.

You can make your opinion known, hell I certainly do, but I would suggest that you put a period after the opinion, and not add those personal snipes. Again, just my opinion.

And certainly, you can join us for margaritas, although I wasn't really drinking margaritas when I made that earlier post. I was joking. I mean, do you take me for some sort of drunk?

I was drinking Grey Goose. Straight. Shaken, but not stirred.

No problem Ron, your right, but if we all agreed it would be pretty boring on here.

Grey goose vodka!!...not had that, but there again I'am a light weight when it comes to drinking..so it wouldn't cost much ..;)

In addition, I found out the Liana was pulled out from retirement to allow Jenson Button to make a time, and Clarkson noted that the Liana would be pulled out for use by Formula 1 drivers in the future, so one could safely assume Lewis was in the same car..;)

I am a huge Kimi fan, but I think he is given the benefit of the doubt in the wet. I can't recall a wet race where he really stood out, especially in the Ferrari.

I read some stories about Kimi being extremely quick in the wet when he was racing Karts.

I don't know how true they are but one of them was that whenhe raced karts in holland at one particular race (Amsterdam) it was raining.
He didn't have the money to buy proper wets. Instead he went to the tiretrash container and grabbed a set of used wets, while all other guys were on brand new wets.
And of course he won that race.

In China 2007 while Hamilton was going full blast and using up his tires, Kimi waited for the graining to dissapear from his tires before he attacked Hamilton whose tires were destroyed .

I hope Ferrari gets their act together if it's a wet race because I want to see a good battle between Kimi and Lewis.

Certainly a good race for him, but Hamilton was doing stupid tire things and Kubica was also competitive. I don't mean to suggest he is bad in the wet, he is still very fast.
(I am not suggesting any Massaness about him) Maybe without traction control he has not looked quite so good.

Steve that and the 3 change tire stop in Brazil had to be the worst blunders McLaren has ever done throughout the Season.

I am amazed, and this applies to McLaren as well as Ferrari, doesn't the driver have a say in strategy?? If a driver is suggesting the tires are wrong, wouldn't he be responsible for letting the pits know about the issue??

I am as well. It appears the days of the driver calling in to the pits and dictating the selection based on his ability to read the track has gone with the likes of Senna, Prost and Schumacher. I'm all for team players but, IMO the driver is the guy you defer to.

Since a certain driver has issues with a red light and he happens to be on pole, good chance he will jump the gun and get fined 10 places since he has no one in front to guide him. Plus he is running on fumes, just to get the Pole position.
