Kimi didnt touch the kid. The Mom knocked her own kid and then continues to go after KR until he points to her kid on the floor.

Exactly, however, even Kimi could have handled it a bit better.

Yes Kimi didn't touch the kid but he touch the notebook and then the booklet knocked the kid.
But what the hell for a lot of people Kimi can do everything and he will be excused

What was he supposed to do? Catch the kid who fell behind him?

How was it poor taste? A woman was being "in your face" he was walking away and her kid fell?

Not Kimi fault. At least he pointed out to the mother her child was knocked over. The mother is an idiot for not knowing her child was on the ground crying.

He walked right into that woman's autograph book, knocking it into the kid. The kid is sitting there crying and Kimi doesn't even break stride. That was a classless act, no matter who the guy is.

First off I think most would agree that the woman walked directly up to Kimi and as soon as the book brushed his sleeve, he contorted in an effort to avoid that woman and her book. The kid is mostly at fault for not watching where he/ she was going. What was he to do? Run back to the kid calling for a doctor? Kids fall all the time and usually parents pick them up... in this case you want Kimi to because the mother won't?

Imagine the press that a baseball player would have gotten for the exact same act.

At the very least, I would have expected anyone, F1 driver or not, to stop and pick the kid up. He knew the kid fell becuase he ran into the woman's book or are you arguing that he was unaware even of that?

Clearly, Kimi had spotted a bottle of Finlandia; the little **** got in the way and mom was star struck and had no time for the rugrat...

Seriously, I don't think Kimi was out of bounds; it clearly was an accident. I thought from the topic thread Kimi pushed the kid down like the photog from a couple of weeks back; nowhere near as bad as an absent-minded JPM walking into the cameraman, and then yelling at him...

Was it really this woman's kid?

    All I can say, I wasn't there, I wasn't in Kimi's head to know what he was thinking. So, in all fairness, I really can't criticize him. Now if it were that dumbbuck Juan Pablo, you know he is a jerk without even watching th vidoe. ;}

    Oh come on!

I honestly don't see how Kimi was in the wrong here. It was not his fault that the kid got knocked down, the mother kept on about the autograph, so he pointed back at the kid she just knocked down and should be attending to. End of story.

Agree, but I don't actually think that woman was the mother. There was another woman that came to the childs aid first, that I guess would be the mom.

No matter what, Kimi should have stopped and checked on the kid. Normal people would do that. I guess the hate of press has removed some of his soul :(. Time to become a Dad Kimi and remember what really matters ...

He should of stopped and helped.
That's the second time I have been let down by him in this manner, the first was with the photographer he pushed to the ground.

I hope Ferrari gets on him about the temper/high and mighty issue.

Drivers in the paddock have other things on their minds. We don't know when this happened. Was Kimi headed for a practice session? Or a driver's meeting? (Was it Kimi who was fined for being late to a meeting?) Was Kimi walking away from another frustrating setup session? Or headed for a drink after being tail-ended by Lewis? ;)

Guests in the paddock are *guests* and shouldn't behave like they own the place. Letting little kids walk around "the factory floor" is never a good idea.

I'm also not thrilled with those "grid walk" interviews that Speed TV does -- the drivers have other things to do just before a race than the whole PR thing. Leave the drivers alone ... and give us more camera time of the grid girls. ;)

It would have been good PR for the team and for himself... "Show some concern for the kid Kimi"

The kid ran into his mothers book and fell down. I don't see how anyone else can be factored in to that equation. I don't hear anyone saying anything about the camera man not helping out, ahhh but who wants to open a thread to bash a camera man.

The camera man was already crouching. He basically just rolled back on his tail and the kid had nothing to do with Kimi, I don't see a "temper" issue.

The cameraman was crouching but you can see Kimi's arms come straight at the guy and push him.
The kid fell in response to contact with Kimi, weather you want to call it indirect or direct contact he should have stopped to help a child and not walked off shaking his head.

Vid of him pushing the photographer (look at Kimi's arms)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pY89QoWLL98&feature=related

The more I see the two videos, the more I want Kimi gone.

Oh, and late or not...he should of helped.
I'm a parent and I know I would not of done well with him doing that to my kid, and as far as the photographer goes he should of just asked him to step back. I don't care if he was going to race or get launched into space...
