Hey Folks, I wanted to officially extend an invitation to you fellow car enthusiasts to an "open" meet and greet in Sudbury MA on March 20th. Although I am Corvette Z06'er, as this open to all car enthusiasts there should be a total-wide range of cars that will be attending. Essentially, this is just a get out and meet fellow local car nuts. This is not a car/make/model-specific event, and the cars so far range from Corvettes, Porsches, Lotuses, NSXs and even a 62 'Cuda. All-and-all and absolute eclectic collection of cars On Saturday March 20th from 12 to whenever in Sudbury MA, we will be holding the first annual "clean the crap of your car" event. A hose will be available if you wish to wash your car, and we plan to bbq there (somehow figure food and drink to be part of the mix). So what I ask if you wish to attend to please email me (make sure you send an email addy that is good to reach you), and I'll send you the specifics. Thanks, -N
Sounds like a fun time to me Nabbs. I will definately make an appearence. This winter weather has lasted too long and I am in heavy car meet withdrawl. Will be a great chance to meet some new people and check out some very nice cars (aka 62 Cuda)!!!
2 Ferraris and 1 M5...not bad so far. oh my email address is [email protected] or feel free to PM. -N
Oh man...maybe we'll get lucky and even have a Lambo show up too ? Throw my TR into the mix.... Thanks Kenny K.
Hi Mark, I knew there was a titanium lambo lurking somewhere behind that 355 spyder avitar ! And ya, if the weather and the roads right, we're a tag team to Sudbury. Maybe we can get some of the cape folks to cross the bridge and hook up too... Kenny K.
Looks like the meet is beginning to grow! Thank you for putting this all together Nabbs, we all appreciate it. If you need any help with regards to food, drink, or anything of the sort please feel free to ask me. Now all we need is a couple of Porsches (think we already have that too).
Thanks TC! Yes, I'll start circulating a list for food and drink soon. You know I am really impressed that there is such enthusiasm from the fchat folks. I can't begin to tell you how difficult it has been motivating the NSX community (and there is a large one in the Boston area)especially since some refuse to take their cars out before April regardless of the weather Anyway, its good to see a group of car people who just enjoy driving their toys...it's even more impressive when said toy is a Lambo or a Ferrari Either way, I really look forward to meeting people. -N
Guys -- all are welcome! All I ask is that you email me at [email protected] and let me know what kinda car you're bringing, and I'll in turn send off the info. Should the weather be sub-par, I'm leaning to "bring your daily driver" and just do some benchracing, drinking and eating This is open to all makes and models, so if for whatever reason you can't bring your fun car, bring your daily. IMHO, a good chunk of the fun of these events is just to meet people. -N
I woull love to come up with my friend in his speester and me in the 355 but I am dont think the speester will be able to keep up !!! just kidding david THE BOYS FROM THE CAPE WILL BE THEIR. DAVID
I have a feeling the cruise down should be quite enjoyable. For those coming North of Boston, several us will be meeting up right off of 90 in the Cambridge/Allston area for the run, err drive, down Think warm happy thoughts! -N
Hi Nabbs, Barring terrible weather or "wife interference" I'm planning on being there. Hey Capt and Verell, you guys want to drive down together? (Capt you will have to "wait up" for us slow guys in 308's!) Birdman
ARE THERE ANY OTHERS GOING TO THIS FROM THE CAPE? SO FAR "SLICK" IN HIS 355, ME IN MY SPEEDSTER. WOULD BE HAPPY TO CARAVAN WITH OTHERS IF INTERESTED. DAVID
Verell, Groton seems to be on the way there for me. Can i join the caravan? Enjoy the Drive, Steven R. Rochlin
Hi David, You and "Slick" are gonna caravan up (is that like cowboy up ?) with with me and Zan from Marshfield. Details of the meeting point are TBA as the date drawers nearer. Kenny K.
